If its a race bike theres nothing wrong with the suspension being set up soft. Its designed to be plush/bottom out easliy so that its smoother over rocks and stutter bumps etc....

29ers are 100% better for cross country they make it so much easier

its called a floating brake. its made to get rid of brake jack cause by the 4-bar design.

Hes right its not a good idea to get a bike with a really low BB because youll end up wanting something different. And if you're buying something to just pass time on why are you getting the P1 instead of P2 or P3?
